About the maker
Welcome to the website of Blake’s Woodworking. I’m Blake: the owner, the maker and everything in between. I got into woodworking at a young age from my dad while working on our many rental properties as a kid. Through this, I learned a lot from him on how to use power tools, construction techniques, and much more. As I got older, I started to use this knowledge to make a few small woodworking projects for family and relatives during the holiday season. As I started out making cutting boards, my intention wasn’t to sell them. My intention was just to give them away as gifts to family. However, you can only have so many cutting boards lying around the house. As friends began to ask me to make them cutting boards and other items, I began selling them and dreamed about the possibility of turning my passion into a side business. Blake’s Woodworking has been a small business for 8 years now.
I am grateful to be doing what I love while using my gifts to glorify Him.
